WORCAM SILK PLA Sky Blue 1kg is a premium PLA filament with a silk effect in an attractive sky blue shade. Thanks to special additives, it creates a distinctively glossy, "satin" surface, which gives your prints a luxurious look while helping to conceal transitions between individual layers.

The filament is wound on a high-quality 1 kg spool, with a string diameter of 1,75 mm and a tolerance of ± 0,03 mm. A stable diameter and careful winding ensure trouble-free filament feeding and consistent printing results even on longer jobs.

For the best result, it is recommended to print on a clean and degreased bed (glass, PEI, structured sheet) and potentially use a suitable separation / adhesion layer (glue stick, special spray, or adhesion solution) depending on the surface type.

Usage and Tips

• Before printing, store the filament in a dry place, ideally in a sealable bag with desiccant, to minimize moisture absorption.
• To achieve the best gloss and reduce layer visibility, try:
  • higher nozzle temperature within the recommended range,
  • lower layer height (e.g., 0,16–0,20 mm),
  • lower speed for visible surfaces.
• PLA Silk is mainly suitable for visual and presentation parts where appearance is most important. For highly stressed functional parts, consider PETG or another technical material instead.
