Orange PLA filament WORCAM is a universal printing string for desktop FDM/FFF 3D printers. Thanks to its stable PLA composition, accurate diameter, and easy setup, it is suitable for both beginners and advanced users who want a reliable material for everyday printing.

Material properties

• Material: PLA (polylactic acid)
• Color: rich orange
• Typical use: prototypes, decorations, visual models, holders, caps, architectural models
• Suitable for: open and closed 3D printers with a nozzle diameter of 0.2–0.6 mm

PLA is a biodegradable bioplastic from renewable resources (e.g. corn starch). During printing, it hardly smells, has minimal shrinkage, and holds its shape well, making it ideal for detailed and dimensionally accurate parts.

Recommended printing parameters

Specific settings may vary slightly depending on the printer, nozzle, and cooling. Take them as a starting profile and fine-tune if necessary.

• Nozzle temperature: approx. 200–215 °C
• Bed temperature: approx. 50–60 °C (on some printers it is possible to print even without heating on a suitable surface – glass, PEI, textured sheet, etc.)
• Printing speed: 40–60 mm/s
• Cooling: fan on (medium to high speed for better details and overhangs)

Storage tips

PLA filament absorbs airborne moisture, which can lead to popping, bubbles in the print, and worse surfaces.

• Store in a dry place, ideally in a sealable box or bag with silica gel.
• If the filament has been lying in humidity for a long time, it is recommended to dry before printing (approx. 45–50 °C for several hours depending on the dryer / oven with precise regulation).

Use of orange PLA

Orange color is ideal wherever good visibility and distinctness are needed:

• cosplay accessories, logos, inscriptions

PLA Limitations

• Lower heat resistance – above approx. 55–60 °C it may start to deform
• Lower toughness than PETG or ABS – other materials are more suitable for mechanically stressed parts exposed to impacts
