Printing recommendations

To achieve the best printing results with WORCAM PLA, we recommend the following settings (always fine-tune according to your specific printer, nozzle and profile):

• Nozzle temperature: approx. 195–220 °C
• Bed temperature: approx. 50–60 °C (on some printers PLA can be printed even without a heated bed, but for reliable adhesion heating is recommended)
• Print speed: around 40–80 mm/s depending on model detail
• Cooling: strong cooling is recommended for nice bridges and details
• Build surface: glass, PEI, textured sheet; for more reliable adhesion you can use a glue stick or special 3D printing spray

PLA filament is sensitive to moisture – store it in a dry place, ideally in a sealed box with silica gel. When moisture is absorbed, “blisters” may appear on the surface and crackling may occur during printing; in such a case, dry the filament in a filament dryer or in a printer with a drying function.
