PLA filament from the WORCAM brand is designed for everyday reliable printing and is based on the proven recipe used for other color variants of WORCAM PLA. Just like these variants, it offers:- biodegradability and health safety,
- very easy printing without odor,
- high hardness and good mechanical properties,
- minimal shrinkage and stable print dimensions.
PLA WORCAM material properties
- Easy printing – PLA is one of the easiest materials for beginners and advanced users. No closed chamber or extremely precise settings are required.
- Low thermal expansion – prints hardly warp on the bed, which is ideal for larger models and long prints.
- High hardness – suitable for decorations, prototypes, models, and parts that are not exposed to high temperatures for long periods.
- Biodegradable material – PLA is based on polylactic acid, usually made from corn or other plant starch.
- Metallic effect surface – the metallic pigment scatters light and softens layer visibility, which improves the appearance even at coarser layer settings.
