WORCAM SILK PLA Grey 1.75mm, 1kg

WORCAM SILK PLA is a special variant of PLA filament with additives that give prints a distinctive glossy, silky surface. The Grey shade is elegant, versatile, and excellent for design and presentation models where appearance and suppression of visible layers are important.

Like other WORCAM PLA filaments, SILK PLA offers easy printing, low material tension, and minimal shrinkage. It does not require a closed chamber and is suitable even for beginners.

Parameters are based on characteristics of comparable WORCAM SILK PLA filaments:

• Nozzle temperature: 220–230 °C
• Bed temperature: 50–60 °C
• Printing speed: up to 80 mm/s (for the best surface, 40–60 mm/s can be chosen)
• Filament diameter: 1.75 mm
• Diameter tolerance: ±0.03 mm
• Cooling: medium to high, depending on model detail

Always fine-tune specific settings according to the printer used, nozzle, and desired surface quality.

Compatibility

WORCAM SILK PLA filament is suitable for most common FDM 3D printers requiring 1.75 mm filament, e.g., Bambu Lab, Prusa, Creality, Anycubic, Ender, Artillery, and others. The spool is designed to be compatible with Bambu Lab AMS systems.

Storage

To maintain top printing quality, we recommend storing the filament:

• in a dry place and away from direct sunlight,
• ideally in a resealable bag or box with a moisture absorber.

In case of longer exposure to moisture, the filament can be dried before printing (e.g., in a filament dryer or in an oven with precise temperature control).
