PPS-CF – Composite material with excellent resistance and stability
PPS-CF is a composite material made from polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) reinforced with carbon fiber. The combination of PPS resin and carbon fibers gives PPS-CF outstanding properties, including exceptional resistance to solvents, corrosion, high temperatures, and flames. Higher printing temperatures increase the strength, stiffness, and dimensional stability of PPS-CF. When paired with the QIDI Plus4 printer, it becomes a highly specialized engineering plastic capable of meeting the demands of challenging applications.
Heat resistance up to 264 °C
PPS-CF features a heat deflection temperature of up to 264 °C at 0.45 MPa load and is capable of long-term operation at temperatures above 200 °C. Thanks to its excellent thermal resistance, it exhibits outstanding creep resistance, making it an ideal choice for demanding industrial environments and applications exposed to high temperatures.
Excellent self-extinguishing
