Prusament rPLA Corn Pigment 1kg is a premium PLA filament produced by Prusa Research, manufactured completely in-house with extraordinary precision of ±0.03 mm. The material is composed of 100% recycled PLA waste from film production and is colored with bio-based pigment from corn, without the use of artificial dyes.

In terms of color, it is a soft beige-yellow shade that looks very natural and is great for interior decorations, mock-ups, visual prototypes, figures, and models. Thanks to easy printing, low warping, and fast processing, it is suitable for both beginners and experienced users.

Note: This is a PLA material – not suitable for applications with long-term load or higher temperatures (e.g., in a car in direct sunlight).

Printing Settings (approximate)

• Nozzle temperature: approx. 205 °C (recommended range 195–215 °C)
• Bed temperature: approx. 50 °C (recommended range 40–60 °C)
• Cooling: 100 % (part fan mandatory)
• Recommended surface: PEI (smooth, textured, or satin), or glass / tape / glue

The filament is easy to print, but:

• it may be slightly more brittle than regular PLA,
• it is more hygroscopic – it is recommended to store in a dry place or dry it from time to time,
• during printing, a more pronounced but non-toxic odor caused by the organic pigment may be noticed.
