Prusament Resin BioBased60 Obsidian Black 1kg is a black photosensitive resin for MSLA/LCD 3D printers developed by Prusa Research. The BioBased60 series is designed to offer the highest possible proportion of components from renewable (plant-based) sources while maintaining excellent printing reliability, fast curing, and fine details.

The blend achieves up to 60% biobased content, with mechanical properties close to "tough" resins – parts are strong, tough, and resist deformation well. The Obsidian Black shade provides a deep, rich black color suitable for precise models, prototypes, and presentation parts.

• Fast curing – on Original Prusa SL1/SL1S printers, recommended exposure times for Obsidian Black at a 0.05 mm layer are:\n
  • Original Prusa SL1: approx. 12 s / layer
  • Original Prusa SL1S SPEED: approx. 6 s / layer
• Post-processing: rinse in IPA or a suitable cleaning solution, followed by post-curing in a UV curing station

For Original Prusa SL1/SL1S printers, the manufacturer recommends using preset profiles in PrusaSlicer, which contain verified parameters for BioBased60.

Safety and Handling
