Prusament PLA Vanilla White Refill 1kg is an original PLA filament from Prusa Research in the Refill variant – i.e. without a plastic spool, wound on a cardboard core for use with a reusable spool. The shade Vanilla White is a gently creamy white (HEX approximately #D9D4C6), which appears warmer and less “chalky” than standard pure white. It is perfect for design parts, figurines, decorations, covers, prototypes and presentation models, where an elegant appearance is important.

The filament is produced on Prusa Research’s own production lines with continuously monitored diameter and ovality, which leads to reliable filament feeding, consistent dimensions of prints and minimal nozzle clogging. Each batch is continuously measured and the diameter tolerance is guaranteed at ±0.02 mm.

Printing recommendations

• Filament diameter: 1,75 mm
• Nozzle temperature: approx. 200–220 °C (typically around 215 °C – depending on the specific printer and speed)
• Bed temperature: approx. 50–60 °C
• Recommended build surface: textured or smooth PEI, glass or another common surface for PLA (clean and degreased)
• Fan: 80–100 % (strong cooling for sharp details and overhangs)
• Print speed: typically 40–60 mm/s, can be reduced for very fine details

Before printing, it is advisable to thoroughly clean the print bed surface (isopropyl alcohol / dish soap solution, depending on the surface type) and verify the correct first-layer height.
