Product description
Prusament PLA Pristine White 1kg
Prusament PLA Pristine White is a top-quality PLA filament developed and manufactured in-house by Prusa Research in Prague. It offers exceptional diameter accuracy of ±0,02 mm and consistent quality of every batch – each spool is assigned a QR code with production data.
This Pristine White shade is a cool, pure white with low saturation and a predominantly matte appearance, making it perfect for design prototypes, architectural models, product mock-ups, cosplay parts and decorations where a truly neutral white color is needed.
Key features
- Premium PLA filament from Prusa Research – manufactured directly in the Czech Republic, strict outgoing inspection of every batch.
- High dimensional accuracy ±0,02 mm – consistent extrusion, reliable printing even for fine details and long prints.
- Pristine White shade – cool pure white, more matte surface, without yellow/grey tint, suitable for presentations and final prototypes.
- Easy to print – low risk of warping, suitable for large parts as well as small miniatures.
- High strength and rigidity for PLA – tensile strength approx. 51–57 MPa, Shore 81D; ideal for functional parts with lower mechanical loads.
- Compatible with most FDM/FFF printers – diameter 1,75 mm, no special requirements for the hotend or enclosed chamber.
- Transparent quality control – each spool has its own production records (accessible via the QR code on the spool).
Typical applications
- Concept and presentation prototypes (industrial design, product design)
- Architectural models and mock-ups in pure white color
- Decorative objects, figures, models and miniatures with emphasis on detail
- Functional parts with low mechanical load, holders, organizers, covers
- Advertising and exhibition models, signs, logos, POP/POS elements
In general, PLA is not suitable for high temperatures and permanent outdoor use (it softens at approx. 55–60 °C and has lower UV resistance).
Recommended printing parameters
Parameters may slightly vary depending on the specific printer, but the manufacturer recommends the following ranges for Prusament PLA:
- Nozzle temperature: 210–220 °C (typically 215 °C)
- Bed temperature: 50–60 °C (in general 40–60 °C is acceptable)
- Print speed: up to approx. 200 mm/s (in practice depending on the printer capability)
- Cooling: 100 % part cooling fan
- Recommended surface: smooth / textured / satin PEI sheet
Tips for better results
- Print in a dry environment and store the spool in a sealed bag or drybox – this reduces the risk of “bubbles” and a matte surface caused by moisture.
- For larger parts, use a lower layer height (0,2 mm and less) for maximum surface quality.
- Keep the bed surface clean (IPA/cleaner according to surface type) to ensure proper adhesion.

Who this filament is suitable for
- Beginners – a very forgiving material, an easy start with 3D printing.
- Advanced users and professionals – for projects where surface quality, color stability and accuracy are important.
- Designers and architects – pure white for presentations and visualizations.
Safety and processing
- PLA does not emit a strong odor and is considered one of the safer materials for home and office printing (ventilation is still recommended).
- Larger assemblies can be made from individual parts using cyanoacrylate (super glue); some PLA blends can be partially glued with acetone, but this depends on the specific shade.
