Recommended print settings

• Filament diameter: 1,75 mm
• Nozzle temperature: approx. 250 °C (±10 °C)
• Bed temperature: approx. 80 °C (±10 °C)
• Recommended build plate type: textured or satin steel sheet with PEI surface
• Build surface in general: smooth PEI, satin or lightly textured

Before printing, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the build plate (isopropyl alcohol / according to the printer manufacturer’s recommendations) to ensure reliable adhesion of the first layers.

Tips for printing PETG

• PETG tends to slightly ooze and create stringing (fine hairs) – if you encounter issues:
  • dry the filament (ideally in a filament dryer or in an oven according to the manufacturer’s recommendations),
  • increase retraction and fine-tune the nozzle temperature,
  • any thin hairs can be removed by briefly passing a hot air gun over the print.
• PETG is softer than PLA, and therefore easier to sand – it is suitable for prints you want to further machine or finish mechanically.
