Prusament PETG Carmine Red Transparent 1kg is a premium PETG filament produced in-house by Prusa Research. Every batch is continuously measured and inspected, thanks to which Prusament achieves exceptional dimensional accuracy of ±0,02 mm and very consistent coloration along the entire length of the spool.

The transparent carmine red shade (Carmine Red Transparent) gives your models a pronounced, rich yet translucent appearance, which is perfectly suited for designer parts, backlit elements, covers, decorations and functional prototypes.

PETG is a versatile material with higher heat resistance and toughness than PLA, while still remaining relatively easy to print. Thanks to low shrinkage and minimal warping effect, it is suitable even for larger prints without an enclosed build chamber.

Printing recommendations

• Bed temperature: approx. 80 ± 10 °C (usually 70–90 °C)
• Print surface: Smooth / textured PEI, glass, optionally with glue (stick/spray) to facilitate part removal.
• Fan: partial cooling, typically around 50 %.
• Recommended layer height: from 0,15 mm and higher.

PETG tends to slightly "ooze" and create stringing. To minimize this:

• check that the filament is dry (PETG is more sensitive to moisture),
• slightly increase retraction and fine-tune the nozzle temperature,
• use prepared Prusament PETG profiles in PrusaSlicer or another slicer.

Be careful when removing the finished print – PETG adheres very well to the surface, especially to clean PEI.
