Product description
Product Description
Prusa PLA+ MATT Yellow is a modern PLA+ filament with a matte surface in a striking yellow-gold color. It is manufactured in the Czech Republic with strict quality control and precise diameter, thus providing reliable and trouble-free printing on most FDM 3D printers.
Compared to regular PLA, PLA+ offers better layer adhesion, higher toughness, and impact resistance, so prints are less brittle and better withstand mechanical stress. Furthermore, the matte surface suppresses the visibility of layers and helps cover small imperfections, which you will appreciate for both design and functional parts.
This filament is ideal for users who want easy setup, high surface quality, and reliability even during longer prints.
Applications
Matte PLA+ filament is particularly suitable for:
- design and presentation models
- functional prototypes and mechanical parts with lower thermal stress
- figures, decorations, interior models
- electronics covers, organizers, holders, and fixtures
- printing on open FDM printers even in warmer environments thanks to better viscosity
Thanks to its easy printing, it is suitable for both beginners and advanced users who want to achieve high-quality results quickly and repeatedly.
Key Features
- High-quality PLA+ filament with a matte surface
- Excellent layer adhesion and increased impact resistance compared to classic PLA
- Matte yellow / golden color – suppresses visibility of layers, professional look
- Easy printing – minimal warping, stable material flow
- Suitable for high printing speeds thanks to optimized viscosity
- Good dimensional accuracy and reliable filament feeding
- Made in the Czech Republic
Recommended Print Settings
Specific values may vary depending on the printer, hotend, and cooling – take them as initial recommendations.
- Nozzle temperature: 190–210 °C
- Bed temperature: 50–60 °C
- Recommended print sheets: smooth PEI, textured (powder-coated), satin
- Print speed: typically 40–80 mm/s (PLA+ handles higher speeds with correct settings)
- Cooling: 80–100 % after the first layers
For best adhesion, we recommend cleaning the print sheet with isopropyl alcohol and, for large parts, potentially using a glue stick or other suitable separator.

Tips for Printing and Use
- For high detail quality, use a layer height of 0.10–0.20 mm.
- For light and yellow shades, it may be useful to slightly reduce the flow compared to dark colors if you see overfilling of details.
- Store filament in a dry place and in a closed container; although PLA generally does not suffer from moisture as much as other materials, long-term exposure to humidity can degrade print quality.
- Not recommended for parts exposed to temperatures above approx. 55–60 °C or long-term outdoor environments – in such cases, consider PETG or ASA.
