Overview

HELLO3D PVA is a water-soluble support material for FDM/FFF 3D printing. It enables printing of overhangs and cavities that would otherwise be difficult to support safely – after printing, the supports simply dissolve in water. As a result, it shortens post-processing and protects the surface of prints.

  These parameters are based on the official specifications of the manufacturer HELLO3D. Fine-tune according to the printer, profile, and model geometry.

Storage and handling

PVA is highly hygroscopic – always store in a dry place, ideally in a resealable bag/box with silica gel. If needed, dry before printing (low temperature) for stable extrusion. The manufacturer supplies the material vacuum-packed with a desiccant bag; box approx. 215×205×70 mm.

Compatibility and use

• Typical use: automatically dissolvable supports for complex PLA prints, cavities, channels, and fine details.
• Recommendation: for a clean support interface, use PVA for the interface and the model material for the support body (if the profile allows), and after printing immerse the part in water until the supports are fully dissolved.
