• Cooling: moderate, approx. 30–50 % (too much cooling can worsen layer adhesion)

For better adhesion, we recommend using a PEI or textured build plate or an adhesive aid (glue stick, special spray or bed adhesive for PETG). For larger models, a brim or raft can help.

Storage and maintenance of filament

PETG is more sensitive to moisture than PLA. To maintain optimal print quality:

• store the filament in a dry place, ideally in a resealable bag with a desiccant (silica gel),
• protect it from direct sunlight and elevated temperatures,
• in case the filament gets moist, dry it (e.g. in a filament dryer at around 60–65 °C for several hours).

Properly stored PETG will provide consistent results and a smooth surface finish of prints throughout the entire use of the spool.
