GEMBIRD ABS black 1kg is a quality filament made of ABS (acrylonitrile‑butadiene‑styrene), intended for 3D printing of functional and mechanically resistant parts. Thanks to the combination of high strength, toughness and good thermo‑mechanical resistance, it is suitable for prototypes, covers, holders, technical components and parts exposed to higher temperatures.

The filament has a standard diameter of 1,75 mm and is wound on a spool with a weight of 1 kg. At the recommended printing temperature of around 230 °C, it melts smoothly and ensures stable extrusion without nozzle clogging, which will be appreciated by both beginners and advanced users.

ABS from GEMBIRD is characterized by low density, so even larger models remain relatively light while maintaining the required strength. The material is suitable for printing functional parts that must withstand impacts, bending and slightly elevated temperatures.

For printing ABS, a heated bed is necessary and an enclosed print chamber or at least limiting drafts is recommended to minimize warping.
