Product description
Overview
Filament PM PETG in the shade Transparent Red offers a balanced combination of strength, toughness, and easy printability. Thanks to low shrinkage and minimal warping, it is a great choice even for larger models and prints with practical use. Made in the Czech Republic on 100% recycled spools.
Why PETG from Filament PM
- Easy to print – suitable even for beginners.
- High toughness, good heat resistance (up to ~70 °C).
- Excellent layer adhesion, dimensional stability, low shrinkage.
- Responsible production and a spool return program (Plastic Second Life).
Recommended print settings
- Nozzle: 220–250 °C
- Bed: 80–90 °C
- Material: PETG (polyethylene terephthalate glycol)
These values are based on the manufacturer’s official parameters and serve as a reliable starting point for most FDM/FFF printers.
Tips for successful printing
- If moisture is present (bubbles, “sizzling,” matte surface), dry the filament for approx. 6 h at 65 °C.
- For cleaner bridges and fewer “hairs,” lower the nozzle temperature or adjust retraction.
- Better adhesion is achieved with a clean bed (IPA) and a slightly higher first layer.
Applications
- Mechanical parts, jigs, holders
- Covers and functional prototypes
- Lighting and design elements – translucent red effect
Parameters (temperatures, tolerances, weights, RAL/Pantone, EAN) are based on Filament PM’s official pages; spool length per the specification for this type.
