Product description
Filament PM PEIJet 1010 Ultem – Natural
Filament PM PEIJet 1010 is a top-tier industrial material based on polyetherimide (PEI, ULTEM 1010). It excels in temperature resistance over 200 °C, dimensional stability, self-extinguishing properties (UL94 V0 and 5VA) and high strength and toughness. Ideal for functional parts, jigs, covers and components that must withstand heat, chemicals and mechanical stress.Warning: PEI is a material for advanced users and industrial 3D printers. It requires precise temperature control, a closed chamber and proper drying of the material before printing.
Key Features
- PEI/ULTEM 1010 – material for demanding industrial applications
- Thermal resistance >200 °C, excellent dimensional stability in heat
- Self-extinguishing: UL94 V0 and 5VA
- High flexural modulus, strength and toughness
- High chemical resistance
- Precise manufacturing, typical diameter tolerance ±0,05 mm
- Spool made from 100% recycled material
Recommended Print Settings
- Nozzle: 350–370 °C (manufacturer recommendation: approx. 360 °C)
- Bed: 140–150 °C (in print settings 120–150 °C depending on conditions)
- Chamber: closed, heated min. ~70 °C
- Adhesion: use MAGIGOO HT or another adhesive for high-temperature plastics; apply in 3 thin layers
- Drying: PEI is highly hygroscopic – dry before each print at approximately 110 °C
- After printing, remove the model as soon as possible; during cooling, stress builds up in the part and there is a risk of damaging the bed.
Typical Use
- Functional parts in automotive, electrical engineering, power industry
- Jigs, holders, covers, housings and components exposed to heat and chemicals
- Replacement of metal parts where low weight and high thermal stability are required
Why Filament PM
- Czech manufacturer with tradition and precise quality control
- Wide support for industrial materials and sustainable production (recycled spools)
Tips for Success
- Keep the material dry (dry boxes, sealable bags with silica gel)
- Minimize drafts and temperature fluctuations, print in a closed chamber
- For larger parts, consider brim/raft and lower speed for better layer cohesion
