Designed for high-speed printing
The RAPID PLA+ filament boasts dimensional accuracy of +/- 0,02 mm and a strict diameter tolerance of 1,75 mm, ensuring smooth and consistent filament flow and reducing the risk of nozzle clogging.
By optimizing the material’s molecules and balancing the material properties, the filament can quickly absorb heat and melt rapidly, enabling smooth extrusion and resulting in smooth and consistent prints every time, even at a high print speed of 250 mm/s (on our Neptune 4 series).
Less tangling & carefully wound
All filaments are fully mechanically wound with secondary sub-winding and strict manual inspection to ensure the lines on the spools are neatly arranged, reducing the risk of tangling and possible breakage.
Made from renewable resources, our filament is safe, eco-friendly, and biodegradable, making it a sustainable choice for all your printing needs. To be even more environmentally friendly, all filaments come on cardboard spools, which decompose faster than plastic spools. In addition, there are three holes on the spool for monitoring the remaining filament and replacing it in time.
Recommended PLA print settings
Commonly used nozzles are suitable. You can choose the diameters according to the surface smoothness you want to achieve or according to the layer height settings during printing. Printing temperature: 210 °C. PLA filament requires a heated bed, but for better material adhesion it is recommended to heat it up to 55 °C. We also do not recommend enclosing the printer in an enclosure when printing PLA filament, or alternatively leave it open. For a quality print surface, the plastic must be cooled as quickly as possible after leaving the nozzle. We therefore recommend setting the part cooling fan on the printer to 100%.
We supply the filament vacuum packed together with a moisture absorber and placed in a cardboard box. The plastic spools on which the filament is wound may differ in indentation or color. We strive to maintain 100% repeatability of winding and spool color.
