E-HT PLA is a new generation of filament based on the bio raw material polylactide. Thanks to the new formulation, your prints will always be perfect.
The material called E-HT PLA offers higher strength and impact toughness compared to standard PLA filaments. The most important advantage of this material is primarily the adjustment in terms of extending the crystallization time. When printing a given detail, the material crystallizes 3x faster, which smooths the surface and makes layer lines less visible. This also increases its strength. In other words, increasing the crystallization rate improves strength and does not negatively affect interlayer adhesion. The layers are perfectly bonded to each other, resulting in an aesthetic and durable part. Increased strength can also be achieved by heating and crystallizing the material under the conditions recommended by the manufacturer.
Main properties of E-HT PLA:
- E-HT PLA crystallizes 3x faster compared, for example, to filaments from other well-known brands. Your prints will be even more precise. For beginner users, the E-HT filament is more forgiving of printer setup errors
- E-HT PLA has much higher heat resistance compared to other PLA-based materials
- it is 100% BIO
- it is not as brittle as other PLA materials
- E-HT PLA has 2.5x higher impact toughness compared, for example, to other PLAs
- E-HT PLA is 25% more flexible than, for example, EcoLine PLA
- in addition, it offers a unique and phenomenally beautiful color range
Recommended printing temperature: 205-220 [°C]
Build plate temperature: 60 [°C]
Print cooling: 70-100 [%]
