Achieve a luxurious look for your 3D prints with Bambu Lab PLA Silk in copper color. This filament offers a silky sheen with the ease of printing of PLA. It’s ideal for decorations, art projects, and character models. Compared to ordinary PLA Silk filaments, this one is enhanced and more resistant to breakage, also suitable for AMS printing. For the best gloss, we recommend printing at higher temperatures (230-240 °C) and lower speeds (30-60 mm/s for outer walls). The filament is equipped with an RFID chip for smart printing with automatic parameter settings.

Enhanced toughness and AMS compatibility
Compared to regular PLA Silk, Bambu PLA Silk is reinforced and shows greater resistance to breakage when using AMS printing.

Adjustable gloss
The visual gloss of a model printed with Silk material can be controlled by print temperature and speed. Higher print temperatures and/or lower speeds are recommended for glossier surfaces.
Recommended settings: nozzle temperature: 230 - 240 °C, outer wall speed: 30 - 60 mm/s

Printing tips
• Drying PLA Tough is optional. Recommended drying conditions are 55 ℃ for 8 hours in a dryer and 75 ℃ for 12 hours on the printer’s heated bed. Learn more about filament drying. For more information, see the Filament Drying Cover section on the WIKI.
