Bambu Lab PLA Silk+ combines a pronounced, almost metallic shine with improved strength and interlayer adhesion. The Candy Green shade was designed to stand out on decorative and gift items while printing just as easily as standard PLA.

Tips for best results
- For maximum gloss, reduce outer wall speed to about 50 mm/s.
- Print “hot & slow” compared to regular PLA: stay within the recommended temperature range and avoid excessive retractions.
- Keep filament dry: dry before use (55 °C / 8 h) and store below 20% RH.
Compatibility
- AMS and AMS lite (RFID for automatic setup).
- Recommended build plates: Cool Plate SuperTack, Smooth PEI, Textured PEI.
- Recommended nozzles: stainless 0.2/0.4 mm, hardened steel 0.4 mm; not recommended: hardened 0.6/0.8 mm.
Note: Silk PLA generally requires a lower outer wall speed for uniform gloss. For consistent appearance, maintain stable speeds and flow even in corners and fine details.
