Product description

Bambu ABS-GF

Bambu ABS-GF is a glass fiber reinforced ABS filament that has been enhanced in both mechanical and aesthetic properties. Compared to standard ABS, ABS-GF excels with higher strength, stiffness, heat resistance, and dimensional stability, while being less prone to warping and deformation. The glass fibers give the material a fine matte surface with micro glossy highlights that mask print layers. Thanks to its water resistance, wear resistance, high durability, and vibrant colors, ABS-GF is ideal for both mechanical parts and decorative elements.

Increased strength and stiffness

ABS-GF surpasses standard ABS in strength and stiffness, making it ideal for load-bearing parts and components resistant to bending.

Better dimensional stability

Thanks to glass fiber reinforcement, ABS-GF has better dimensional stability than standard ABS, minimizing warping and deformation during printing. This makes it ideal for complex mechanical assemblies and geometric components.

Sample test: Model size (LWH): 2405020 mm³ (XY direction), infill density: 25%.

Fine matte surface

The matte surface with nearly invisible layers gives ABS-GF a smooth appearance, making it suitable for decorative and finely crafted parts.

Water resistance and long service life

With improved water resistance and durability, Bambu ABS-GF is ideal for producing robust mechanical housings, connectors, and molds for both home and industrial use.

Printing tips

Drying: 80 °C for 8 hours. Dry the filament before printing to achieve higher print quality.

Minimizing warping: Avoid overly large, densely infilled models. Use enclosed printers and apply adhesive properly to the build plate. Set a lower printing speed and a higher bed temperature.

Odor during printing: Like ABS, ABS-GF may emit an unpleasant odor during printing. Ensure adequate ventilation and use enclosed printers.
