Prusament PLA Pristine White 1kg (NFC) is a top-quality PLA filament manufactured in-house by Prusa Research. Each spool undergoes careful quality control and offers exceptional dimensional accuracy of ±0,02 mm, thanks to which you get consistent results even during long prints.
The shade Pristine White is a perfectly clean, neutral white, suitable for presentation models, architectural mock-ups, design prototypes, promotional items and home decorations. Thanks to minimal deformation during printing, PLA is ideal for large models without significant warping and detaching from the bed.
The integrated NFC chip (NFC) in the spool allows Original Prusa printers to automatically recognize the material type and basic parameters, which makes operation easier and reduces the risk of incorrect settings.

Print settings (approximate)
- Nozzle temperature: approx. 210 ± 10 °C (depending on printer and print speed)
- Bed temperature: 40–60 °C
- Recommended surface: smooth / textured / satin PEI sheet or another suitable surface for PLA
- Cooling: 100 % part cooling
- Recommended print speed: normal to higher speeds (PLA allows fast printing)
Before printing, we recommend thoroughly degreasing the bed (e.g. with isopropyl alcohol) according to the printer manufacturer’s recommendations.
PLA material properties
- Easy-to-print material suitable even for beginners
- Low shrinkage – minimal deformation
- Average toughness, the material is rather brittle
- Lower heat resistance – mechanical properties deteriorate above approx. 55–60 °C
- Not ideal for long-term outdoor use (lower UV resistance and thermal stability)

Tips for better print results
- Before the first print from a new spool, check the first-layer height and bed cleanliness.
- For very large models, use a brim or raft if you have issues with corner adhesion.
- For fine details, print with a layer height of 0,10–0,15 mm.
- If you are not using the filament for a longer time, store it in a sealed bag / drybox to minimize moisture absorption.
