Product description
Prusament PLA Pineapple Yellow 1kg (NFC)
The premium filament Prusament PLA Pineapple Yellow 1kg (NFC) is an original material from Prusa Research manufactured in-house with extremely strict quality control. The bright yellow shade “Pineapple Yellow” resembles ripe pineapple and is ideal for eye-catching models, prototypes, and design objects.
Why choose Prusament PLA Pineapple Yellow (NFC)
- Top-class diameter accuracy ±0.02 mm – ensures consistent extrusion, smooth walls, and minimizes nozzle clogging.
- Integrated NFC chip – on supported printers it enables automatic spool identification and loading of parameters directly from the filament.
- High color stability – every production batch is carefully tuned and checked to keep the shade as consistent as possible.
- Easy to print even for beginners – PLA does not require an enclosed chamber or special conditions and adheres well to common print surfaces.
- Suitable for both detailed and large models – low thermal expansion means minimal warping and deformation.
Typical use cases
- prototypes and functional samples
- decorations, figurines, cosplay accessories
- educational models and aids
- design and presentation parts
- large-volume prints with an emphasis on dimensional stability

PLA is a hard but brittle material – it is not intended for heavily stressed or flexible mechanical parts, nor for use at higher temperatures (e.g. in a car in the sun).
Surface, bonding, and post-processing
- The filament adheres well to a PEI sheet, glass, painter’s tape, or a bed with glue.
- For bonding individual parts, cyanoacrylate (super glue) is recommended.
- For sanding, wet sanding is suitable to prevent local overheating and smearing of the plastic.
Packaging and storage
- The filament is wound on a solid plastic spool with an integrated NFC chip.
- The spool is vacuum-packed with a silica gel bag for moisture protection.
- For long-term storage, it is recommended to keep the spool in a resealable bag or box with a desiccant.
Benefits for users
- Reliable printing without unnecessary tuning – ideal for everyday printing.
- Professional appearance of prints thanks to consistent diameter, saturated color, and smooth surface.
- Compatible with most FDM/FFF printers using 1,75 mm filament.
- NFC convenience – a perfect choice for users of Original Prusa printers with NFC support.
