Prusament PLA Gravity Grey 1kg (NFC) is a premium PLA filament from Prusa Research in a universal light gray color Gravity Grey. It is manufactured in‑house on Prusa’s own production lines, where diameter tolerance, color consistency, and mechanical properties are monitored throughout the entire process. The result is a filament with an exceptionally stable diameter of ±0.02 mm, which ensures reliable extruder operation and clean, accurate prints.

The new generation of spools is equipped with an NFC tag according to the OpenPrintTag standard, which allows easy reading of filament information (material, color, remaining amount, etc.) by compatible printers and accessories. This simplifies material management and minimizes setup errors.

Gravity Grey is a neutral light gray shade, ideal for functional parts, prototypes, models, technical components, and design objects, where detail stands out and small imperfections are not visible on the print. PLA is very easy to print, does not require an enclosed chamber, and thanks to minimal warping it is also suitable for larger models.

Printing tips

• Before printing, clean the print surface (IPA, according to the printer manufacturer’s recommendation) to ensure good first‑layer adhesion.
• Use 100 % cooling, especially for smaller, detailed models.
• For larger parts, we recommend a bed temperature of 50–60 °C and a reasonable layer height (0.15–0.25 mm) to balance quality and speed.
• Do not expose finished prints to elevated temperatures for long periods (above approx. 55–60 °C); the material is PLA and may soften.
