Prusament PLA Galaxy Silver 900g Refill (NFC Compatible) is a top-tier PLA filament manufactured by Prusa Polymers in the Czech Republic. It differs from classic PLA primarily by its high content of fine shimmering particles, which create a distinct metallic "galaxy" look – ideal for representative models, figures, jewelry, packaging, design accessories, and decorations.
The refill version means the filament is wound without a plastic spool onto a cardboard core/hub intended for insertion into a reusable spool. This saves plastic waste and storage space. This variant is designed as NFC compatible – when used with a corresponding Prusa NFC spool, the printer (e.g., Original Prusa MK4/XL series) can automatically read filament information.

For best results, printing on a PEI print surface (smooth, powder-coated, or satin sheet) is recommended, as is standard for Original Prusa printers.
