Prusament PLA Galaxy Silver 1kg (NFC) is a high-quality PLA filament with a characteristic shimmering galaxy effect. The silver base color is complemented by fine glitter, creating a starry sky effect on the print. This look is popular for figures, cosplay accessories, decorations, design models, electronics covers, and representative prototypes.

The filament is manufactured directly by Prusa Research on its own production lines, where the diameter and ovality of every spool are carefully measured. The result is a dimensional diameter tolerance of ±0.02 mm, ensuring stable extrusion, minimal flow fluctuations, and reliable printing even for long models. PLA is generally very easy to print, and Galaxy Silver is no exception – it works well even on open printers without an enclosed chamber.

This version includes an integrated NFC chip, which allows compatible Original Prusa 3D printers to automatically recognize the filament type and display spool information.

• Nozzle temperature: approx. 215–230 °C
• Bed temperature: approx. 50–60 °C
• Print speed: usually 40–60 mm/s (depending on printer type)
• Cooling: high (fan running almost at full power, especially for detailed models)
• Bed: smooth PEI, textured PEI, or other common surfaces for PLA; a clean surface is important (degreasing with isopropyl alcohol, etc.)
