This variant includes an NFC chip integrated into the spool, so supported Original Prusa printers can automatically recognize it and load the material profile.

Printing Settings (Guideline)

* We always recommend using the preset Prusament PLA profile in PrusaSlicer or another slicer and fine-tuning it if necessary based on the specific printer and conditions.

PLA Material Properties

• Hard but more brittle material – not suitable for heavily stressed or bent parts
• Low temperature resistance – mechanical properties significantly drop above approx. 55–60 °C
• Low shrinkage and warping, very stable printing
• Not ideal for long-term outdoor use (lower UV and heat resistance)

PLA is an excellent choice for everyday printing, prototyping, models, and decorations, where appearance, dimensional accuracy, and ease of printing are priorities.
