Prusament PLA Blend Pearl White 1kg (NFC) is a premium pearlescent white PLA filament manufactured in-house by Prusa Research. The “Blend” mixture with fine pearlescent pigment creates a smooth, glossy surface that visually hides the layers and gives prints a luxurious look. Thanks to the integrated NFC chip, the spool is ready for convenient use on compatible Original Prusa printers.

PLA is the most versatile and at the same time very easy-to-print material – suitable for beginners as well as demanding users. The Prusament line is known for its precise quality control, excellent winding, and stable filament diameter.

Thanks to low shrinkage and a very low tendency to warp, it is also suitable for larger models and bigger parts that do not require high thermal or mechanical resistance.

Printing settings (guideline)

Parameters may vary slightly depending on the printer and specific setup; the following values serve as a recommended starting point:

• Nozzle temperature: approx. 215 °C (range 210–220 °C depending on printer and speed)
• Bed temperature: 50–60 °C
• Part cooling: 100 % (typical for PLA)
• Recommended build plates: smooth PEI, textured PEI, satin PEI
• Recommended layer height: 0,10–0,20 mm for detailed models, up to 0,25 mm for fast printing

For best adhesion, make sure the build plate surface is perfectly clean (isopropyl alcohol, proper PEI plate maintenance).

PLA material properties

• Easy to print – very good material flow, quick setup
• Low warping – suitable for larger and flat models
• Good dimensional accuracy and sharp details
• Heat resistance approx. up to 55–60 °C – not suitable for hot environments (car in the sun, etc.)
• Harder but more brittle than e.g. PETG – not suitable for mechanically stressed parts
