Prusament PLA Anthracite Grey 1kg (NFC) is a top-grade PLA filament manufactured directly by Prusa Research. Each spool is carefully inspected, and its parameters can be verified online using the serial number. The elegant anthracite grey color is a universal choice for prototypes, technical parts, models, and decorations.

The integrated NFC chip (OpenPrintTag) allows compatible printers (e.g. newer Original Prusa) to automatically load filament information – making it easier to set up the print correctly and manage materials.

Recommended print settings

Specific values may vary slightly depending on the printer, nozzle, and ambient conditions.

• Nozzle temperature: approx. 210 °C (range 200–220 °C)
• Bed temperature: approx. 60 °C (range 40–60 °C)
• Recommended surface: PEI smooth / textured, glass, adhesive tape
• Cooling: 100 % fan for PLA
• Recommended layer height: 0,10–0,30 mm

Tips for printing and post-processing

• Before printing, clean the print surface (isopropyl alcohol, according to the printer manufacturer’s recommendation).
• For better adhesion of the first layers, use a properly calibrated Z axis and a clean surface.
• PLA is relatively hard but more brittle – avoid excessive bending when assembling parts.
• For sanding we recommend wet sanding to avoid overheating and clogging of the abrasive.
• Parts can be glued with common cyanoacrylate (super) glues.

Safety and storage

• Store in a dry place, ideally in a sealed bag or box with desiccant.
• Protect from long-term UV exposure and higher temperatures.
• Ensure room ventilation during printing, following standard 3D printing guidelines.
