Prusament PETG V0 Jet Black is a special self-extinguishing PETG filament developed by Prusa. As one of the few materials on the market, it meets the strict UL94 V0 classification, making it ideal for electronics enclosures, insulating elements and other parts where a higher level of fire safety is important.

Printing settings (approximate)

• Nozzle temperature: approx. 230 ± 10 °C
• Bed temperature: approx. 80 ± 10 °C
• Cooling: fan recommended (approx. 50 % after the first layers)
• Recommended surface: textured or satin PEI, or a separator (glue) on smooth PEI due to strong adhesion

Exact settings may vary depending on the specific printer, part size and printing speed. For best results, we recommend starting from the pre-set Prusament PETG V0 profiles in PrusaSlicer and fine-tuning them further.

Working with the material

• Hygroscopicity: PETG V0 absorbs moisture more strongly, we recommend storing it in a dry place or drying for approx. 6 h / 55 °C before printing.
• Print removal: adhesion to the bed is high – let the bed cool down and use a spatula carefully.
• Post-processing: suitable for dry and wet sanding, can be processed well.
