Tips for successful PETG printing

• Do not let the nozzle stay in one place unnecessarily long – PETG tends to "burn" and create stringing.
• Use slightly higher retraction than with PLA, but avoid extreme values to prevent the material from getting stuck in the nozzle.
• When printing on a smooth PEI sheet, follow the manufacturer’s recommendations (a thin layer of glue is often recommended as a separation layer to prevent excessive adhesion of the print).
• Store the spool in a dry place – PETG is slightly hygroscopic; long-term exposure to moisture can worsen print quality.
