• Bed temperature: approx. 70–90 °C depending on the build plate surface
• Recommended surface: textured or satin sheet (reduces the risk of surface damage due to excessive adhesion)
• Print speed: typically around 40–60 mm/s (depending on printer type and model detail)

Before printing we recommend:

• Thoroughly degreasing the print surface (isopropyl alcohol / IPA)
• If adhesion issues occur, gently use a glue stick or a separation layer (on smooth PEI in case of very high adhesion)
• Storing the filament in a dry environment – PETG is slightly hygroscopic, drier filament = less stringing and a cleaner surface

Tips for successful PETG printing

• PETG tends to string – it helps to:
  • slightly reduce nozzle temperature within the recommended range,
  • correctly tune retraction settings,
  • ensure the filament is dry (or dry it in a filament dryer).
• Adhesion to smooth PEI can be very strong – when printing on a smooth sheet, use a thin separation layer (glue stick, spray) to prevent surface damage.
