Recommended print settings

• Nozzle temperature: 250 °C ± 10 °C
• Heated bed temperature: 80 °C ± 10 °C
• Recommended build plate: textured (powder-coated) or satin steel sheet
• Filament diameter: 1,75 mm
• Recommended airflow: low to medium (too strong cooling can worsen layer adhesion).

Before printing, it is advisable to thoroughly clean the print surface (isopropyl alcohol, or as recommended by the printer manufacturer) and use the default Prusament PETG profile in PrusaSlicer or similar settings in another slicer.

Tips for printing PETG

• Drying the filament: PETG easily absorbs moisture. For best results, we recommend drying the filament before printing in a filament dryer or in an oven with precise temperature control (according to the printer/filament manufacturer’s recommendations).
• Stringing: if you notice fine strings, try slightly increasing retraction and adjusting the nozzle temperature (e.g. in 5 °C steps). Any stringing can be removed with a short treatment using a hot‑air gun.
• Adhesion to the bed: with PETG, adhesion can be very strong – on smooth surfaces it is worth using a separation layer (glue, glue stick, special spray) as recommended by the printer manufacturer.
