Product description
Product description
Prusament PETG Neon Green 1kg (NFC) is a premium PETG filament developed by Prusa Research for demanding 3D printing users. The PETG material (polyethylene terephthalate glycol) combines high toughness, good heat resistance, and minimal warping during printing, making it suitable for both hobby and professional use.
The neon green shade is striking and highly visible, which you will appreciate for functional parts, safety components, RC models, sports or outdoor accessories, and decorations. Thanks to the high diameter accuracy of ±0,02 mm, Prusament PETG provides maximum print consistency without nozzle clogging and extrusion fluctuations.
The built-in NFC chip in the spool stores information about the material, color, and remaining amount of filament, which compatible printers can automatically read. This simplifies material management and shortens print preparation time.
Key features

Recommended applications
Prusament PETG Neon Green is an excellent choice for:
- Functional and structural parts
- Electronics enclosures, mounts, brackets, jigs
- RC models, drones, and their components
- Sports and outdoor accessories
- Safety components and warning signage (thanks to the bright neon color)
- Design decorations, logos, signs, and illuminated elements
Printing settings (approximate)
Specific values may vary depending on the printer, nozzle, and cooling. We always recommend printing a small test model and fine-tuning the parameters.
- Nozzle temperature: approx. 230–250 °C
- Bed temperature: approx. 70–90 °C
- Print speed: usually 40–80 mm/s (depending on model complexity)
- Cooling: low to medium (PETG typically does not require full fan power)
- Build surface: smooth/textured PEI, glass with a suitable adhesive, etc.
Advantages of PETG material
- Higher strength and toughness than standard PLA
- Better heat resistance (more suitable for warmer environments)
- Lower tendency to cracking than standard ABS
- Easier to print than many technical materials – suitable even for advanced beginners
Package contents
- 1× spool of Prusament PETG Neon Green 1kg (NFC) hermetically sealed for moisture protection
Tips for successful printing
- Before printing, check the cleanliness of the nozzle and build plate.
- PETG can tend to adhere strongly to some surfaces – use a suitable release agent (e.g. glue stick) according to your printer manufacturer’s recommendations.
- Store the filament in a dry place; PETG is slightly hygroscopic and, when damp, can sputter during printing and worsen surface quality.
