Prusament PETG Neon Green 1kg (NFC) is a premium PETG filament developed by Prusa Research for demanding 3D printing users. PETG (polyethylene terephthalate glycol) material combines high toughness, good temperature resistance, and minimal deformation during printing, making it suitable for both hobby and professional use.

The neon green shade is distinctive and very well visible, which you will appreciate for functional parts, safety elements, RC models, sports or outdoor accessories, and decorations. Thanks to the high diameter precision of ±0.02 mm, Prusament PETG provides maximum consistent printing without nozzle clogging and extrusion fluctuations.

The built-in NFC chip in the spool stores information about the material, color, and remaining amount of filament, which compatible printers can automatically read. This simplifies material management and shortens print preparation time.

Specific values may vary depending on the printer, nozzle, and cooling. We always recommend printing a small test model and fine-tuning the parameters.

• Nozzle temperature: approx. 230–250 °C
• Bed temperature: approx. 70–90 °C
• Print speed: usually 40–80 mm/s (depending on model complexity)
• Cooling: low to medium (PETG usually does not require full fan power)
• Bed: PEI smooth/textured, glass with a suitable adhesive agent, etc.

Tips for Successful Printing

• Check the cleanliness of the nozzle and print bed before printing.
• PETG can have a tendency to adhere strongly to some surfaces – use a suitable separation agent (e.g., glue stick) according to the printer manufacturer's recommendations.
• Keep the filament dry; PETG is slightly hygroscopic and if damp, it can pop during printing and degrade surface quality.
