Prusament PETG Jet Black 900g Refill (NFC Compatible)
Prusament PETG Jet Black is a high-quality PETG filament from Prusa Polymers' own production. This Refill 900 g variant is designed for refilling the new generation detachable Prusament spool (NFC). This significantly reduces the amount of plastic waste and the cost of further printing without losing the convenience of an original Prusament spool.
The refill is wound on a cardboard tube adapted for the new thinner NFC spools – after reassembling the sides, you get a full-fledged smart spool with a stored NFC tag according to the OpenPrintTag standard. The tag contains data about the material, color, and other parameters and can be read, for example, by the Prusa mobile app and in the future by upcoming NFC spool holders.

Recommended print settings
Specific profiles for Prusament PETG are available in PrusaSlicer, below are indicative ranges:
- Filament diameter: 1.75 mm
- Nozzle temperature: approx. 230–250 °C
- Bed temperature: approx. 70–90 °C (depending on the surface type)
- Print speed: normally 40–60 mm/s (depending on model complexity)
- Cooling: medium to lower (compared to PLA)
Before printing, we recommend thoroughly degreasing the bed (isopropyl alcohol) and using a brim for larger parts. For long-term top print quality, it is advisable to dry PETG from time to time in a filament dryer according to the manufacturer's recommendations.

Tips for successful printing with PETG
- Do not print on completely clean smooth glass without a separation layer – PETG can adhere too strongly. Use a recommended surface (e.g., textured or satin sheet) or a suitable separation agent.
- Do not expose finished parts to temperatures above approx. 70–80 °C for a long time – deformation may occur.
- For dark colors (like Jet Black), follow recommended cooling and speed to ensure the surface is even and without burning.
