Prusament PETG Chalky Blue is a premium PETG filament in an elegant matte pastel blue color, manufactured directly by Prusa Research in the Czech Republic. Each spool is carefully inspected and offers exceptional dimensional accuracy of ±0.02 mm and consistent color throughout the entire length of the filament.

Thanks to the integrated NFC chip, information about the spool (material, color, remaining weight, etc.) can be easily read on compatible Original Prusa 3D printers.

PETG Material Properties

PETG is a versatile technical material suitable for:

Print Settings (approximate)

• Nozzle temperature: approx. 240–250 °C (depending on printer and profile)
• Bed temperature: approx. 70–90 °C
• Recommended surface: textured / satin / smooth PEI sheet
• Print speed: usually 40–60 mm/s
• Cooling at medium level is recommended, not full power like with PLA.

For the best results, we recommend using official Prusament PETG print profiles in PrusaSlicer (profiles for Original Prusa printers).

Tips for Successful Printing

• Clean the bed with isopropyl alcohol (IPA) or according to the printer manufacturer's recommendations before printing.
• For larger parts, use a brim or slightly increased bed temperature for better adhesion.
• In case of stringing, lower the nozzle temperature or adjust retractions.
• Store the filament in a dry place; PETG is moderately hygroscopic – for long-term open spools, drying in a filament dryer is suitable.
