Prusament ASA Signal White 800g (NFC) is a top-tier ASA filament manufactured directly at Prusa Research. ASA (acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylate) is considered the true successor to ABS – it offers high temperature resistance up to approximately 93 °C, excellent UV stability, and very good dimensional stability. Thanks to this, it is ideal for long-term outdoor use and mechanically stressed parts.

The Signal White variant is a bright white, technical shade suitable for functional parts, housings, covers, prototypes, mounts, parts for interior and exterior. The material is wound on a new returnable spool with an NFC tag (OpenPrintTag), which allows compatible printers and applications to read basic information about the material directly from the spool.

Tips for printing with ASA

• Environment: it is recommended to print in a closed box/enclosure to reduce warping on larger models.
• Ventilation: print in a well-ventilated room – ASA releases fumes during printing that may be unpleasant.
• Bed adhesion: ensure a perfectly clean build plate surface (e.g. IPA) and, if necessary, use a suitable adhesion aid.
• Large models: add a skirt / brim / draft shield to minimize corner lifting.
