Filamentree PLA Plus Luminous Green is a high-quality PLA+ filament with a luminescent effect that glows with a rich green color in the dark after exposure to light. It combines the easy printing properties of classic PLA with the higher toughness of PLA+ and an attractive “glow-in-the-dark” appearance.

Thanks to a diameter of 1,75 mm and a weight of 1 kg, it is compatible with most common FDM 3D printers. The luminescent pigment in the fiber absorbs light (solar, UV, or artificial) and subsequently gradually emits it in the dark.

For maximum brightness, we recommend printing thinner walls or hollow objects that transmit light better, and sufficiently “charging” the models in daylight or strong artificial light before use.

Printing recommendations

• Nozzle temperature: approximately 200–220 °C
• Bed temperature: approx. 50–60 °C (depending on printer and surface)
• Printing speed: standard values for PLA/PLA+ (e.g., 40–60 mm/s)
• Cooling: on, standard for PLA

Specific settings may vary depending on the printer type, hotend, and print bed surface. For the first use, we recommend printing a calibration model and fine-tuning the temperatures.

Storage

To ensure that the Filamentree PLA Plus Luminous Green filament maintains its properties and brightness in the long term, store it:

• in a dry place, ideally in a sealable bag with a silica gel sachet
• away from direct sunlight
• at room temperature, without extreme fluctuations

Proper storage helps reduce moisture absorption, improves print quality, and maintains a consistent luminescent effect.
