Filamentree PLA Plus 2nd Class is an economical variant of the popular PLA+ filament from the Filamentree brand. This is second quality (2nd Class) material – typically involving:

• minor visual imperfections on the spool or in the color,
• a mix of multiple color shades or batches,
• slightly damaged packaging.

These deviations have no effect on the printing properties of the filament itself, so it is an ideal choice for users who want to save costs but require reliable PLA+.

Great for prototyping, technical parts, workshop models, assembly fixtures, or functional parts where the final color appearance is not essential.

• Print speed: approx. 40–70 mm/s
• Cooling: 80–100% after the first layers

For 2nd Class spools, it may be advisable to:

• more carefully set retraction (preventing stringing),
• possibly slightly reduce speed for the first prints,
• before printing, we recommend drying the filament (approx. 45–50 °C for several hours) if it has been out of the original packaging for a long time.

Applications
