Product description
Filamentree PETG Water Blue 1kg
Filamentree PETG Water Blue is a versatile PETG filament in a rich water blue color, ideal for technical and visually attractive prints. It combines strength and toughness similar to ABS with the ease of printing close to PLA, making it suitable for both beginners and advanced users.
Main advantages of PETG Filamentree Water Blue
- High strength and toughness – suitable for mechanically stressed functional parts
- Good temperature resistance compared to PLA
- Low shrinkage and minimal warping during printing
- Excellent interlayer adhesion for durable and compact models
- Water blue color – effective for decorations, prototypes, and more translucent parts (depending on print settings)
- Easy printing on common FDM printers with a heated bed
Recommended Use
PETG Filamentree Water Blue is particularly suitable for:
- functional and mechanical components
- covers, brackets, mounting jigs
- decorations and design models
- prototypes requiring higher durability than PLA
Recommended printing parameters*
*Specific settings may vary depending on the printer type and environmental conditions.
- Nozzle temperature: approx. 230–245 °C
- Bed temperature: approx. 70–80 °C
- Printing speed: 40–70 mm/s
- Print surface: glass, PEI, textured sheet, ideally with glue or spray for better adhesion
- Drying requirement: PETG is partially hygroscopic – in case of long exposure to moisture, we recommend drying the filament before printing.
Technical properties of PETG material
- material: PETG (polyethylene terephthalate glycol)
- typical characteristics: strong, tough, impact-resistant
- good chemical resistance (water, some acids and bases)
- less prone to warping than ABS
Packaging
- Filament weight: 1 kg
- wound on a standard spool, vacuum packed with desiccant (typical packaging for PETG spools)
Note: The listed printing parameters are based on common settings for high-quality PETG filaments and may require minor fine-tuning according to the specific printer and conditions.
Key features:
- Versatile PETG filament for functional and design prints
- Water blue color for attractive and highly visible models
- High strength and toughness suitable for mechanically stressed parts
- Good temperature resistance compared to PLA, less prone to deformation than ABS
- Low shrinkage and excellent interlayer adhesion
- Easy printing on most common FDM 3D printers with a heated bed
