Printing properties
PETG is a copolyester that is popular for its combination of strength, chemical resistance, and reasonable temperature resistance. Unlike ABS, it does not require a closed chamber and printing is stable even on standard desktop 3D printers.
To achieve the best results, it is recommended:
- printing nozzle: approx. 230–250 °C (depending on the specific printer and cooling)
- heated bed: approx. 70–85 °C
- recommended bed surface: PEI, textured PEI, glass with glue, or other adhesive agent
- medium print speed, turn off or limit drafts around the printer
