Product description

Filamentree PETG Luminous Green 1kg

Filamentree PETG Luminous Green is a high-quality PETG filament in an intense luminous green shade. It is designed for users who want to combine the mechanical resistance of PETG with a striking, highly visible appearance – ideal for functional parts, advertising and design elements, holders, covers, packaging, or prototypes used outdoors.

Key material properties

  • PETG material (polyethylene terephthalate glycol) – combines easy printing similar to PLA with higher toughness and temperature resistance.
  • Luminous Green color – bright, luminous green, very well visible in light, suitable for highlighting shapes and details.
  • High strength and toughness – suitable for functional parts that must withstand loads and repeated use.
  • Good thermal resistance (approx. 80–90 °C) – parts resist higher temperatures better than PLA, suitable for interiors and limited outdoor use.
  • Low shrinkage and warping – easier printing of larger objects without significant curling.
  • Good chemical resistance – resistance to water, certain chemicals, and weathering.
  • Precise diameter and stable extrusion – typical diameter tolerance for Filamentree PETG is around ±0.02 mm, ensuring smooth operation and consistent layers.

Recommended use

Filamentree PETG Luminous Green is particularly suitable for:

  • Functional parts and technical components – holders, covers, jigs, mounting elements
  • Safety and signaling elements – highlighted machine parts, handles, signs, packaging
  • Design and advertising items – logos, lettering, stands, exhibition models
  • Outdoor and parts exposed to moisture – PETG generally resists water and UV better than PLA

Printing recommendations

Specific values may vary slightly depending on the printer and cooling, but for Filamentree PETG, the following are commonly used:

  • Nozzle temperature: approx. 230–250 °C
  • Bed temperature: approx. 70–85 °C
  • Printing speed: 30–60 mm/s (lower for detailed prints)
  • Cooling: low to medium – too strong cooling can worsen layer adhesion

For reliable first layer adhesion, we recommend using a clean and degreased print surface, or an adhesive agent (glue, special spray, or textured surface suitable for PETG). PETG tends to stick strongly to some types of beds – for smooth PEI, it is advisable to print with a thin layer of separation agent.

Advantages over PLA

Compared to standard PLA filaments, Filamentree PETG offers:

  • higher temperature resistance – suitable even for warmer environments,
  • greater toughness and impact resistance,
  • better resistance to moisture and chemicals,
  • suitability for functional and long-term used parts.

Packaging and storage

The filament is wound on a high-quality spool and delivered in a sealed bag. For best results:

  • store in a dry place, ideally in a resealable container with silica gel,
  • protect from direct sunlight and dust,
  • during longer periods of inactivity, we recommend removing the filament from the printer and storing it back in its packaging.

Proper storage helps maintain consistent print quality, minimal stringing, and stable material flow.

Filamentree PETG Luminous Green 1kg is a great choice for everyone looking for a reliable, durable, and visually striking PETG filament for everyday and professional 3D printing.

Key features:

  • Luminous green PETG filament for distinctive and highly visible prints
  • High strength and toughness suitable for functional technical parts
  • Good thermal resistance around 80–90 °C, higher than PLA
  • Low shrinkage and low susceptibility to warping when printing larger objects
  • Diameter tolerance around ±0.02 mm for consistent extrusion and quality surface
  • Suitable for interior and limited outdoor use due to better resistance to moisture and UV radiation
  • Compatible with most common FDM/FFF 3D printers for 1.75 mm filament
