Filamentree PETG Flame Red T is a premium PETG filament designed for reliable and visually attractive 3D printing. It combines easy printing properties similar to PLA with strength and toughness close to ABS, making it ideal for both functional prototypes and final parts.

The designation „Flame Red T“ represents a translucent (transparent) deep red shade that gives prints a striking and "vivid" look. Thanks to its high resistance to impact, moisture, and chemicals, the filament is also suitable for technical and outdoor use.

Recommended print settings

Specific values may vary depending on the printer, nozzle, and build plate – take them as initial recommendations.

  • Nozzle temperature: 230–240 °C
  • Bed temperature: 60–70 °C
  • Print speed: approx. 40–100 mm/s (up to more for high-performance printers, depending on extruder capabilities)
  • Cooling: low to medium; first layers preferably without or with minimal cooling for better adhesion
  • Build plate: textured/structured PEI, glass with adhesive, or other surface suitable for PETG

For the first layer, we recommend slightly increasing the bed temperature and reducing the print speed to achieve reliable adhesion. PETG tends to "stick" more strongly to some surfaces – for smooth PEI or glass, print with a reasonable first layer height to avoid damaging the sheet.

  • Heat resistance: up to approximately 80 °C

Filamentree PETG Flame Red T is designed for most common FDM/FFF 3D printers with:

  • nozzle capable of reaching temperatures around 230–240 °C
  • heated bed up to at least approx. 70 °C

It is suitable for both beginners who already have basic experience with PLA and want a stronger material, and for advanced users and professionals who need more durable, visually attractive parts.


Storage

To maintain the best properties, we recommend:

  • keeping the spool dry, ideally in a sealable box with desiccant
  • protecting from direct sunlight and high temperatures

Well-stored PETG will maintain consistent color, printing properties, and strength over the long term.
