Candour PLA Basic Red is a universal red PLA filament designed for reliable and trouble-free printing. The material and color shade are based on the identical formula as Bambu Lab PLA Basic Red, so you can count on very similar printing behavior, strength, and surface appearance.

PLA Basic is ideal for beginners and advanced users alike – it prints easily, does not require a closed chamber or extremely high temperatures, and due to low shrinkage, it suffers only minimally from corner warping.

Important: Candour brand spools do not have an NFC tag and cannot be used as a refill for original Bambu Lab spools. However, the filament is fully compatible with Bambu Lab printers (using the PLA/Generic PLA profile) and most other FDM printers using 1.75mm filament.

Printing Recommendations

Use the PLA / Generic PLA profile (e.g., in Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer, Cura, etc.).
For the best first layer adhesion, print slower (15–30 mm/s) and slightly increase nozzle/bed temperature within the recommended range.
Ideal printing is on a textured or smooth PEI sheet or glass with a suitable adhesive agent.
During long-term storage, keep the filament dry (resealable bag, silica gel) – PLA is slightly hygroscopic.
