Candour PLA Basic Cyan 1 kg is a reliable PLA filament in a bright cyan color, which is made by the same manufacturer and from the same material as Bambu Lab PLA Basic Cyan. As a result, it behaves practically identically during printing – you can use the same settings and print profiles as for Bambu Lab PLA Basic Cyan.

However, the Candour variant uses its own type of spool without an NFC chip. This means:

• the spool does not contain an NFC tag, so Bambu Lab printers do not automatically read the material parameters,
• the spool is not compatible as a refill for the original Bambu Lab spool – it cannot be used as a winding replacement refill,
• the filament is fully compatible with Bambu Lab printers (including AMS), simply manually select or adjust the profile for Bambu PLA Basic Cyan.

Thanks to this, you get a material-identical filament with an excellent price-quality ratio, ideal both for everyday prototyping and visually attractive models.

Recommended Print Settings

Parameters are based on reference values for Bambu Lab PLA Basic Cyan and can be slightly adjusted according to the specific printer:

• Nozzle temperature: 190–230 °C (typically around 210–220 °C)
• Bed temperature: 35–60 °C (recommended ~45–60 °C depending on bed type)
• Print speed: commonly 50–200 mm/s (according to printer capabilities)
• Cooling: high (80–100%) after the first layers
• Bed surface: textured / smooth PEI, glass, or other common surfaces for PLA

For printing on Bambu Lab printers, you can directly start from the Bambu PLA Basic Cyan profile and potentially fine-tune the temperature according to the specific environment.
