With a hardness of Shore 90A, it falls in the medium range of TPU materials – it is softer than common rigid plastics (PLA, PETG), but stiffer and more manageable than extremely soft TPU (e.g., 85A).

Printing recommendations

- Lower printing speed – for consistent extrusion of flexible filaments, lower speeds compared to PLA/PETG are recommended.
- AMS/AMS Lite compatibility – Bambu TPU 90A is not officially compatible with AMS/AMS Lite feeders, direct feeding into the printer is recommended.
- Bed adhesion – use a suitable Bambu Lab print profile for TPU 90A and the recommended bed type (e.g., textured PEI), or an adhesive agent for better adhesion of the first layers.
