Bambu Lab PLA Tough+ Orange is a premium filament designed for more demanding, functional prints where standard PLA is no longer sufficient. It offers ABS-level toughness while maintaining easy and reliable printing like standard PLA.

(parameters according to the Bambu PLA Tough+ technical data sheet – take as a starting point, always fine-tune according to your printer):
- Nozzle temperature: 220–250 °C
- Bed temperature: 35–65 °C
- Print speed: up to 300 mm/s (lower speeds recommended for maximum surface quality)
- Cooling: fan on
- Compatible nozzles: 0.2 / 0.4 / 0.6 / 0.8 mm
- Recommended surface: Textured PEI, Smooth PEI, Cool Plate with special glue

Thanks to these parameters, Bambu Lab PLA Tough+ is a great choice wherever PLA is too brittle, but at the same time you do not want to deal with the higher printing requirements of ABS or PETG.
Tips for Achieving Maximum Strength
- use more perimeters (walls) and higher infill in stressed areas,
- ensure perfect first layer adhesion – ideally using the recommended glue,
- for more demanding applications, prints can be annealed at approx. 50–60 °C for several hours (according to the manufacturer's recommendation, always test on a trial part).
