Bambu Lab PLA Tough+ Cyan 1kg is a premium PLA filament developed for real-world use where standard PLA is not enough. The material is engineered to withstand impacts, drops, and repeated stress, while maintaining the ease of printing and dimensional accuracy typical of PLA.

PLA Tough+ achieves toughness at the level of ABS and offers up to 2× higher interlayer strength compared to standard PLA. This makes it suitable for functional parts that are frequently used, handled, or may come into contact with mechanical loads – for example, components for RC cars and aircraft, brackets, fixtures, protective covers, or robust prototypes.

The Cyan shade gives prints a modern technical look and high visibility – great for distinguishing part versions, functional groups, and for prototypes where specific components need to be easily recognized.

  • For large and tall models, we recommend a well-leveled bed and a clean first layer to ensure perfect adhesion.
  • In the case of complicated shapes and supports, it is advisable to use a special support filament for PLA, which facilitates support removal and improves the surface at contact points.
  • Store the filament in a dry environment (sealable boxes, silica gel) to maintain top printing quality.
